It is a popular misconception that some people are born with artistic talent, while other people can never achieve simple competence in drawing, painting, or sculpture. This is like saying that someone is born knowing how to play the piano, hit a baseball, or split an atom. Art is a skill that can be taught, studied, and constantly improved with practice.
